Sanjeev Misra
PRINCIPAL
Sanjeev Misra is the founding Principal of Paramount Capital Advisors (PCA). Sanjeev is responsible for general company strategies, new lender relationships, business development and client service strategies. Sanjeev is also founder and Principal of Paramount Lodging Advisors, a national hotel advisory team exclusively committed to the hospitality industry.Sanjeev has secured the financing for a variety of portfolio, single asset and other real estate type deals including hotel, office and self-storage. Sanjeev has been involved in raises exceeding $1 billion if capital in both debt and equity solutions for clients. Sanjeev specializes in securing layered debt solutions, as well as, a variety of equity capital structures for clients.
Sanjeev has also previously served in other capacities such as Director of Real Estate for JHM Hotels in Greenville, SC, managing all real estate holdings for an owner, developer and operator of 35 hotels under 14 franchise brands. He has been responsible for all phases of the development process, as well as all hotel acquisitions and dispositions.
Sanjeev received his Bachelor of Science at Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.

John Pascal
PRINCIPAL
John is a Principal of Paramount Capital Advisors (PCA). John has sourced over $2 billion of capital throughout his career. Before joining Paramount, John served in a similar role as Principal of JMB Financial Advisors.
Prior to JMB, John served as senior vice president and chief investment officer of Brookdale Living Community, a company that provides senior housing nationwide. His experience also includes work as co-chief operating officer of Horizon Bay Management and Senior Lifestyle Corporation and service as executive vice president of Heitman Financial, where he was responsible for acquisition of multi-family, industrial, retail and office properties on behalf of institutional clients.
John earned a master’s degree in business from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Illinois.

Tyler Cornelius
SENIOR ASSOCIATE
Tyler Cornelius is a Senior Associate at Paramount Capital Advisors, where he specializes in sourcing creative and cost-efficient debt and equity solutions across a broad range of commercial real estate asset classes, primarily focused on hotel assets. Tyler has historically and actively financed both flagged and independent hotel properties nationwide—ranging from limited-service to full-service and resort-style assets—leveraging a variety of capital structures including SBA, USDA, CMBS, bridge, conventional bank, and construction financing.
Beyond hospitality, Tyler has also financed and continues to work on transactions involving multifamily, retail, gas station, and special-purpose properties, executing both stabilized and value-add strategies. His deep market knowledge, lender relationships, and hands-on approach make him a trusted partner to owners, operators, and developers seeking tailored capital solutions.
Prior to joining PCA, Tyler worked in investment management at William Blair & Co., where he supported the oversight of institutional investment portfolios. Earlier in his career, he gained operational and financial experience as a finance and operations manager for Premier Restaurant Group.
A Chicagoland native, Tyler holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the Driehaus College of Business at DePaul University.

Dimitri Dimakos
ASSOCIATE
Prior to joining PCA, Dimitri worked in acquisitions and asset management at HP Ventures Group LLC, assisting in the acquisition and management of a Chicago-based multifamily real estate portfolio.
Dimitri received his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the Driehaus College of Business at DePaul University, and Master’s degree in Real Estate from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University.
